Sales & Design Consultant
Help homeowners work out what to build, where, and at what price, then guide them from first call to finished structure.
People come to us with a backyard and a problem: no room in the garage, no place for the mower, a dream of a workshop. You will help them sort out what fits, what it costs and what happens next. No pressure tactics. We are a knowledgeable neighbor, not a closer.
What a normal week looks like
- Respond to new inquiries quickly and find out what the customer actually needs
- Walk customers through sheds, garages, greenhouses and outdoor living options
- Build accurate quotes with our pricing tools and 3D shed builder
- Visit sites when needed to look at placement, access and foundation requirements
- Explain permits, setbacks and the process in plain language
- Follow up on every quote until it becomes a yes or a clear no
- Keep every lead and order up to date in our pipeline
- Coordinate with production and install crews so nothing slips
- Ask happy customers for a review when the job is done
Who we are looking for
- 2 or more years of consultative sales to homeowners (home improvement, building products, outdoor living or similar)
- You enjoy educating customers more than pushing them
- Organized and persistent with follow-up by phone, text and email
- Comfortable with construction basics, or eager to learn them fast
- Clear communicator in person, on the phone and in writing
- Valid driver's license and able to travel locally for site visits
A plus if you have
- Experience with sheds, garages, pole barns or modular structures
- Familiarity with Massachusetts permitting
- Experience with CRM tools or online configurators
